Gone Wild
Parsa Kameh Khosh
12 - 17 June 2015
Parsa Kameh Khosh, designer-artist channels primal creativity through organic forms and unconscious expression.
Gone Wild, a bold solo exhibition by multidisciplinary innovator Parsa Kamehkhosh, opening on 12 June 2015 and running through 17 June. This collection marks Kameh khosh’s radical departure from industrial design conventions, embodying his manifesto to "become wild" and surrender to the untamed creative process.
Inspired by organic fragments like cow vertebrae and mango pits, Gone Wild rejects controlled aesthetics in favour of instinct-driven creation. As Kamehk hosh declares in his artist statement:
"Let your hands engage with nature... Become wild. Without understanding, let your hands do their work—then what happens, happens."
The works—ranging from fluid sculptures to visceral installations—channel raw materiality and unconscious memory. They reflect his conviction that unmediated creation bridges humanity, animals, and the natural world.
Parsa Kamehkhosh (b. 1985, Tehran) is globally recognised for his "Theory of Design Naturally," developed during his MA at Tehran University and now taught at Stockholm’s Konstfack College. His award-winning career includes participation in Milan Design Week (2013) for his Mitochondria’s Cesarean design, finalist honours in the Kia Motors Competition (2010), and multiple national design awards. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Contemporary Art at Aalto University (Helsinki), Kameh khosh founded his studio in 2012 to "dig for unexpectedness." Gone Wild crystallises his evolution from theoretical rigor to instinctual artistry.
