In Silence
Curated by Mohsen Mahmoodizadeh
29 August - 9 September 2025
Azad Gallery is pleased to announce In Silence, a new exhibition showcasing a selection of works by four emerging painters: Ghaazaleh Abdolahzadeh, Aram Khadem, Neda Sadeghnia, and Mona Shahsavar. In Silence explores the profound and contemplative dimensions of landscape painting, inviting viewers to a space of quiet reflection.
The four artists, despite their individual differences in technique and perspective, are united by a shared pursuit of a deeper meaning within the landscape—a meaning that transcends mere representation. Their work highlights nature not simply as a subject, but as a foundation for expressing inner states, the passage of time, and the unspoken relationship between humanity and its environment.
In a world filled with constant noise, the pieces in In Silence create a sanctuary for contemplation. Each artwork, born from the unique experience and vision of the artists, presents a poetic landscape that reflects the contemporary world. The exhibition serves as an invitation for the audience to pause, reconsider their connection with nature, and look inward at their own relationship with themselves.
